Womens Hipster Black Tosh & Bosh Panel Pants
This variant is currently sold out
Over the years we have often heard people say such disturbing things as 'I couldn't wear those enormous pants - they aren't sexy at all!' Well we think that is a bit of old tosh & bosh, nothing is sexier than a comfortable pair of well fitting Thunderpants! So if you want ethically made quality & comfort but still feel like you need to fit in to societies unreasonable standards of whatever, we have printed some lace on these ones.
These pants are modelled on pre-historical Thunderpants. Before Co-Founder Josie started making the ultimate pants of joy, she made some rather nice panelled versions for a 'Lingerie Brief' (pun definitely intended) at fashion school. These are a homage to those.
The fit is the same as your usual Thunderpants with extra design lines and thinner banding for a more elegant look.
NB: Pictured on the model are normal Hipsters for height & the Original Panel Pants to show you wear the seams are, we don't have pictures of the Hipster Panel Pants on a model, they are just the same but lower.
The hipster is sized from x small - large, check our size guide against your measurements. This cut is designed to sit in the natural crease at the top of the leg, cover your bum and reach to your high hip area. We recommend the hipster if you are flat in the tummy and/or short in the rise to the waist. For many of us, the hipster does not reach over the apex of our tummy roll at which point the natural laws of gravity take over and the hipster will roll down. In this situation we have a solution in the higher waisted, original option.
The Thunderpants fabric is 90% organically grown cotton and 10% spandex to give it that super comfy, soft stretchy feel. The waist and leg bands are constructed in the same, lovely fabric eliminating the need for the addition of nasty, grippy elastic and adding to the enjoyment of your Thunderpants experience. All the garments are made locally and lovingly in New Zealand.
To preserve the vibrant colours and life of the fabric we suggest you do not soak or bleach your Thunderpants items. Use a gentle detergent in a cold machine wash and dry your Thunderpants on the line, not in the drier.
Your Thunderpants are not only super comfy but they are designed to withstand some pretty staunch stuff, so get into them and get on out there!
