THUNDERPANTS; MORE THAN JUST AN UNDERPANT

At Thunderpants we believe life shouldn’t be taken too seriously. As a family run business work becomes a bit like home. We make a habit of communal lunches and bringing our dogs to work. When summer gets too hot, we take our thundie wearing booties down to the river. When it’s too cold we complain (a lot) and drink copious amounts of tea.

Much of the day is spent talking about last night’s meal and how to preserve our precious home grown vegetables. We love New Zealand, our families, and our jobs. The Thunderpants business model is based on similar principles of slow growth, family before business and lifestyle over work.

More than just underpants, Thunderpants are a way of life. Yes, it seems silly - they are only underpants - but for many including ourselves Thunderpants embodies the Kiwi dream. Thunderpants embraces the more important things in life; quality over quantity and slowing down to enjoy the fruits of our labour.
